Friendship

Janet & Meredith. Becka & Sarah. Sisters, sisters, and all four of them friends on the verge of goodbye. Janet asked if I would take photos of them days before Becka and Sarah would leave for Germany with their family. The love between these girls was more beautiful than any photo I could possibly create. Even so, it was my honor to capture in time a glimpse of their friendship. Janet, Meredith, Becka, and Sarah, you are all such lovely young ladies. May your love and your friendship endure through the distance and the years to come!

Spring at Last!

Spring is here, and hopefully soon we’ll see not only flowers growing in our community garden, but also carrots, broccoli, garlic, peas, and other delicious veggies! A beautiful day at Harvest Fields…

The Creation

All things bright and beautiful,
  All creatures, great and small,
All things wise and wonderful,
  The Lord God made them all.

Each little flower that opens,
  Each little bird that sings,
He made their glowing colors,
  He made their tiny wings;

The rich man in his castle,
  The poor man at his gate,
God made them, high or lowly,
  And ordered their estate.

The purple-headed mountain,
  The river running by,
The sunset and the morning,
  That brightens up the sky;

The cold wind in the winter,
  The pleasant summer sun,
The ripe fruits in the garden -
  He made them every one.

The tall trees in the greenwood,
  The meadows where we play,
The rushes by the water
  We gather every day, -

He gave us eyes to see them,
  And lips that we might tell
How great is God Almighty,
  Who has made all things well!

Just for Fun

A month ago I spent time with a few friends and my camera was used like a point-and-shoot. It ended with grainy photos, and bad composition, but I plugged them into my new editing software anyway to see what I could salvage. Here you have it!

Bobby & Steph Engagement – State College, PA Photographer

I met Stephanie in speech class this summer. When she told me she was engaged, I offered to try out my new camera on them. She and Bobby were thrilled and we met up one sunny, summer day.

Bobby is an artist with an eye for beauty, so it’s no wonder Stephanie caught his attention. They shared their story with me – how they met, the sacrifices they’ve made, the hardships they’ve faced. But at the end of their story there is nothing but joy, and it’s written all over their faces.

Congratulations Bobby and Steph! Thank you for letting me capture these moments. It was an absolute riot! I hope the future brings you just as much joy and many more smiles.
